About us at Tannerhill Farms
I have had lots of experience with cattle as I grew up on a working cattle ranch in Central Florida. I wanted to still raise livestock so I looked into Boer Goats.MY Fist buck was SA Boer Buck from SEASHINE FARMS . He won overall Grand Champion at the Florida State Fair at just 3 months old. Of course, that was not enough goats, once the goat bug bites, you can never have enough.
We have raised quality Boer goat for over 13years. We decided in 2010 to bring in new bloodlines from out of state to add to the animals we already had. We purchased new young top quality does and We raised our Traditional Buck Tannerhill's Xcellarator. In 2013 we purchased McHale's Stinger a big beautiful red Buck. In 2014 we add Show Me Boers Tuffy Heartbreaker to start a fresh new bloodlines in this area; Now we have only Top Quality Fullbloods Boer Goats Raising goats are so much fun and are great entertainment , just watching the babies play can offer hours of entertainment. Goats are a great learning experience for our children, teaching them responsibility as they help care for them.
We strive to provide Excellent quality Boers Goat

Grand Champion
Youth Boer Goat
Florida State Fair
What a wonderful experience we recently had with Tannerhill Farms. My wife and I are
relatively new to goat ownership and after some early disappointments, we were looking to
improve the quality of our small heard. That’s when we heard about Tannerhill Farms. After
a couple of unhurried discussions with Cherry, she made us feel very comfortable and
quickly not only demonstrated her encyclopedic knowledge on ‘everything goats’, but her
patience with newbies like us as well. We decided to visit the farm this past Saturday (over
200 miles each way) and were thinking of purchasing a single young buck for our heard.
She welcomed us into her farm and home and we spent several hours just soaking up
everything she wanted to share with us about proper goat ‘care and maintenance’ – and all
this, before we even discussed whether or not we were even going to actually buy an
animal. I was delighted with her Southern hospitality, her knowledge and genuine love for
her animals and their care. Once we actually got to mingle with and learn about specific
animals that we might consider for our herd, their friendly disposition quickly drew us to
not only ‘Jack’, the young Buck we were initially interested in, but to three other young
Does as well. Although we started out looking to purchase a single young Buck, Cherry’s
willingness and flexibility to work with us enabled us to not only purchase Jack, but the
three young Does as well. We’ve had them home now for five days and couldn’t be more
pleased. Additionally, her concern has gone well beyond our visit, as she has already
reached out to us several times to follow-up on how everyone is doing and adjusting to
their new life. We look forward to a long relationship with Tannerhill and to future visits.
